Our CARE team brings together experts from stress biology, ACEs research, childhood intervention, and health disparities. Our multi-disciplinary team leads the field in ACEs screening, identifying biological markers of toxic stress, and developing and implementing childhood interventions, tailored to low-income communities and communities of color.
Our community partner, Futures Without Violence (FWV), leads in developing universal resilience-promoting resources for diverse settings. Our strong collaborations throughout the state, coupled with the enthusiasm of like-minded partners and illustrious advisors provide for a deep, lasting impact on the next decade of intervention work in California.
