I am a staff research associate in the CLEAR lab who assembles the biospecimen kits, stores the biospecimens, and processes the biospecimens for plasma, serum, and DNA. I also will run assays to measure stress biomarkers.

I am excited to use the power of research to help shape early intervention methods for stress in these underserved communities like the ones I grew up in.

RJ is the Staff Research Associate responsible for the biologics of CARE. He designs and optimizes protocols for biospecimen collection and molecular analysis, coordinating directly with the clinical team to advise methods throughout the pipeline.

As a San Francisco native, RJ is passionate about addressing prolonged stress responses in children throughout diverse Bay Area communities using his background in protein chemistry.
